Abdikarim Saed Salah

I was raised in the coastal city of Berbera, located along the Red Sea, where I completed both my primary and secondary education. I began my journalism career in the same city while still a secondary school student in Form 2 in 2006. Over time, I gradually built my experience in the media industry, starting as a website reporter before becoming a widely recognized journalist across Somali-speaking regions. During this period (2006–2017), I worked in news reporting and contributed to coverage for major television outlets. In mid-2017, I relocated to Hargeisa, where I continued my journalism career, further developing my professional experience and expanding my work in the media sector.

• In 2023 Elected as Member of Somaliland Journalists Association Board (SOLJA) – Elected Term 2023 -2026.
• SOLJA legally registered in Somaliland as “Somaliland Journalists Association” with valid registration and has the rights to defend the freedom and independent media and Journalists in Somaliland and to develop their knowledge. It represents a total of 800 Journalists, and 56 media houses all regions of country.
