Having studied the job description and the requirement indicated in the ToR, I believe that my experience, educational and passion to continue working for the local NGOs dedicated to eradicating GBV and FGM in Somaliland meets your expectations and requirements. I have more than four years of experience in managing project relevant to your area of operation. I have worked both with local and International NGOs in Somaliland and particularly those based in Burao district, Togdheer region. In my previous roles, I had designed and managed activities aimed to educate the public on the risks and consequences of the FGM and GBV. I have developed work plans, prepared activity reports and mobilized local communities for action against FGM and GBV. I am very well educated the latest methodologies and approaches including Do No Harm and the participatory and inclusive approaches that support both donor and local NGOs commitments to eradicate FGM in the face of Somaliland. As for my education, I have Bachelor of Medical Laborotary Science and Professional Diploma in Nutrition, as well as, Diploma in implementing FGM programs. I have also received numerous trainings in different areas of focus such facilitation of trainings and so on. Moreover, I am a very flexible person, culturally rich and computer literate. I have strong knowledge in the local community, having raised and born in Burao. I have also a strong working relationship with the local NGOs, and the Ministry of Employment, Social and Family Affairs (MESAF) Burao local government, local communities and other stakeholders.
