Duties and Responsibility
Conduct regular field visits to the project site and update the Project teams and management on the progress of project activities in the field.
Share accurate and timely reports to supervisor/management and this includes project monitoring reports, and weekly/monthly progressive reports, as required.
Collaborate with other WV sectors, government entities, UN & NGO- fostering linkages in support of sustainability and coordination of project activities (e.g. extension services, marketing facilities, credit mechanisms);
Assist project teams with any administrative support required to enable project operations.
Support collection of key information and data to be used in project proposal development.
Participate in proposal writing, drafting of project budgets, and generation of key project documents.
Support implementation; Food, Cash, and Voucher distributions, address complaints, and provide project supplies and other NFIs to project beneficiaries.
Participate and ensure a transparent beneficiary targeting and registration process of project beneficiaries in the district as per the provided guidelines.
Ensure that respective project beneficiaries in the district receive their cash/food commodities entitlements as prescribed on time.
Ensure that project inputs, visibility, complaints, and project key information are in place/shared with beneficiaries and stakeholders.
Overcame unforeseen challenges by proactively identifying potential issues and promptly developing contingency plans accordingly.
Scheduled and facilitated meetings between project stakeholders to discuss deliverables, schedules, and conflicts.
Facilitated successful project outcomes by maintaining open lines of communication among team members, stakeholders, and senior management.

Responsible for carrying out food security assessments among the pastoralist.
Oversee the implementation and monitoring of the program activities
Works with the agro-pastoralist community to explore indigenous technical experiences and develop cropping calendars and farm plans.
Received directives for farm managers and delegated tasks to farmhands accordingly while ensuring that all tasks were accomplished satisfactorily
Monitoring and evaluating food distribution to ensure that the beneficiaries have been reached
Preparing weekly and monthly reports and contributing recommendations based on the findings and achievements of food security and livelihoods.
Participate in the production of technical support materials and guide program teams on the delivery of mechanisms that will ensure effective implementation of livelihood interventions as well as early recovery.
Provide close supervision and monitoring of the implementation of livelihood project-related activities in the field and team supervision as well.
