I have necessary skills, knowledge, qualifications and experience for the position. I have relevant experience and knowledge for the health in the context of the country. I have been working with LNGOs for five years. I worked with Aamin Organization (Aamin Ambulance) as project officer of Essential Package of Health Services (EPHS). Also, I worked with WARDI Relief and Development Organization as Programme Assistant (Nutrition and SCOPE Supervisor) in Mogadishu. While with LNGOs, coordination, monitoring, ensuring delivering of supplies to the health facilities, collecting data and analyzing, manage updated information disseminated on regular basis and reporting adequately to the relevant stakeholders were my areas of responsibilities.
However, I have experience working with government authorities, I worked with Banadir Regional Administration (BRA) Directorate of Health as Community Mobilizer. I had an opportunity to better understand the health systems in the country and in particular Mogadishu and South-Central Somalia at large.
Mobilization and sensitization of communities, planning and monitoring of mobile outreach teams across the city, supervision and ensuring program implementation, training Community Health Workers (CHWs), supervising data collection, analyzing and preparation of reports and disseminate to the Head of the BRA Directorate of Health and social services.
In regard to qualification, I have a Master in Public Health and Bachelor Degree of Nursing and I have a Diploma in Hospital Management.
