Designing and implementing Protection programs in the organization

• Provide technical support on a wide range of aspects including GBV survivor safety planning, safe house
  admissions, referrals for medical support of health facilities providing CMR such as SOS, Medina Hospital employing
  survivor-centered approaches in service delivery, GBV awareness campaigns, establishing and managing GBV support groups, managing GBV one-stop centers and Safe Houses, psychosocial counseling follow-ups, legal aid, engaging men in accountable practices (EMAP), and managing feminine kit inventories.
• Support the implementation of the multi-district comprehensive GBV Prevention and Response services.
• Organization's focal person on safeguarding, PSEA, Gender and inclusivity.
• Train and facilitate the capacity building of staff on GBV case management, GBV prevention and response
  strategies, clinical management of rape, GBV survivor-centered approaches, psychosocial counseling, safeguarding, PSEA
• Conduct mandatory safeguarding orientation for newly onboarded staff
• Working closely with donors, INGO/NGOs, national GBV/CP clusters, community leaders, and respective local government authorities to streamline coordination.
• Working with finance and procurement teams to ensure coordination and timely project implementation
• Support the MEAL team in conducting regular project performance checks using standardized tools
• Managing over 70 staff in close collaboration with the Human Resources Manager.
• Conducting project monitoring visits to project locations in Mogadishu, Baidoa, Cadaado and Gakacyo to oversee implementation progress and recommend the execution of remedial actions where necessary.

• Management and implementation of the multi-district (Hodan, Afgooye, Baidoa and Cadaado) integrated comprehensive GBV Prevention and Response services, WASH, Health and Nutrition activities according to established standards.
• Developed detailed project implementation and procurement plans.
• Identifying and providing technical support to GBV, WASH and Health/nutrition Staff in all the 4 districts of operation

• Working closely with community leaders and respective local government authorities to streamline coordination with stakeholders for the project's success

• Ensure community members are mobilized to participate in anti-GBV activities in the camps
• Develop interventions including, but not limited to, advocacy initiatives, awareness raising, targeted trainings, to strengthen protection response based on data
• Ensure representation of SSWC at the sub regional CP/GBV cluster meetings as directed by the Program Manager.
