I have several years of experience working with NGOs and humanitarian organizations in Somaliland, particularly in the areas of food security, community development, gender, and protection.
• Most recently, I worked as a Case Worker with CARE International from December 2024 to February 2026. In this role, I participated in community assessments, case documentation, and protection monitoring activities. I also served as a CARE focal point and led a team conducting Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) for a Rapid Drought Assessment in Sool Region in collaboration with several INGOs, NGOs, and the Food Security Cluster Somaliland. The assessment involved qualitative and quantitative data collection, coordination with stakeholders, report preparation, and field supervision.
• Previously, I worked as an Enumerator with Save the Children and as an FSL Field Officer and Community Facilitator with SOYVO. These roles strengthened my skills in survey administration, interviewing, data entry, community engagement, report writing, and research ethics. I have experience collecting and organizing large volumes of field data and ensuring data quality and confidentiality.
• I am fluent in Somali, English, and Arabic and possess excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills. I am proficient in Microsoft Office applications and experienced in working both independently and within multidisciplinary teams under demanding field conditions.
