• Performing laboratory tests and produces reliable and precise data.
• Constructing and maintaining and operating standard laboratory equipment e.g. centrifuges, titrations, pipeting machines, and Hb machines , Glucose machines.
• Following and ensuring strict safety procedures and safety checks.
• Using mathematical calculations for the preparation chemical reagents in the laboratory.
• Documentation and reporting results.
• Quality control assurance to ensure the accuracy and reliable results
• Ensuring the compliance of hygiene and safety protocol individually and collectively

• Rotation in different departments including the reception, phlebotomy, parasitology,hematology, blood transfusion, microbiology, histology, comprehensive care clinic,molecular biology and immunology/serology.
• Cleaning and disinfection of working areas to ensure laboratory personnel safety and to avoid contamination in the early morning hours.
• Carrying out quality control procedures, formulation and interpretation of quality control charts, maintenance and utilization of standard operating procedure.
• Collection, transportation and storage of blood, stool sputum, CSF and urine specimens.
• Operating of diagnostic equipment in hematology, biochemistry, and immunology/serology.
