
Dr. Yasmin Hassan Mohamud is a dedicated and compassionate medical doctor with over four years of progressive experience in immunization program management, vaccine-preventable disease control, and humanitarian health services. Her career is marked by a steadfast commitment to improving health outcomes in underserved communities through strategic planning, community engagement, and evidence-based public health interventions. Previous serving as a field officer under the ARC within-supported Extended Programme on Immunization (EPI), Dr. Yasmin plays a pivotal role in minimizing zero-dose children and advancing ongoing immunization activities. She provides critical support to national and district-level teams in the implementation of Supplementary Immunization Activities (SIAs), demonstrating consistent leadership in increasing and sustaining coverage for all EPI vaccines. Her contributions extend to strengthening disease surveillance systems and coordinating effective outbreak responses.
