In addition to that I have proven skills of budgeting and public accounting experience. An expert in administering highly dynamic work environments, as well as proven financial management experience. Excellent academic knowledge in Economics and Financial literature. And excellent research skills, currently under investigation of research related with renewable energy and the effect of economic growth including setting tariffs. Have of experience in public institutions especially World Bank projects implementing the GoSL. Participate and contribute a valuable ideas in validation workshops for all accounting policies and manual documents in the Accountant General Office of Somaliland. Trainer of Trainees in the Ministries, Departments and Agencies work closely with the Accountant General. Liaise with government counterparts from the Budget Department, SLFMIS teams, National Audit Office teams and the implementing Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) where necessary and ensuring strict compliance with the requirements of the Agreement between the World Bank and the Government, the Project Implementation Manual (PIM) for the project and the EAFS Manual/COAPM which are based on appropriate financial management best practice and international accounting standards. I also prepare Statement of Expenditures (SOE), Interim unaudited Financial Reports (IFRs) and the audited Annual Financial Statements (AFS) among others.
