My duties included but are limited to the following;

• Supporting the supply chain department with day-to-day activities (preparing quotations, carrying out analyses, filling systems, updating tracking sheets)
• Assisting warehouse management (dispatching items from the warehouse, preparing waybills, GRNs, and other supporting documents, dealing with casual loaders, working with other suppliers when receiving items from suppliers, filling out documents, and making warehouse arrangements
• Preparing a monthly report for both warehouse and supply chain departments
• Preparing weekly, and monthly procurement plan.
• Preparing and updating contracts for the venders
• Conduct a local market price assessment
• Ensuring and Monitoring stock levels.
• Receiving, moving, checking, and storing incoming stocks

My duties included but are not limited to the following;

• Receiving and reviewing purchase requests supporting documentation to ensure it addresses specifications/ requirements and authorizations have been obtained
• Conducting the procurement process once approved
• Identifying the goods and services that are needed for the current projects and operations
• Conducting the market assessments of sources and prices
• Working with other agencies and private sector to identify to potential suppliers
• Ensuring requests for quotes/bids clearly set specification and other requirements
• Receiving and reviewing all bids and prepares quotes/bid summary sheet
• Rank status of procurement request and updates staff who have made a request
• Organizing procurements/ bid committees as needed and ensures they have information needed to analyze bids properly
• Supporting and briefing staff on procurement procedures.

Main duties and responsibilities;

• Supporting all procurement and logistics operations
• Assisting vehicle management to assign the activities
• Assisting procurement in conducting a market survey assessment
• Assisting in stock movement from suppliers to beneficiaries.
• Assisting in project’s asset management and asset tracking.
• Preparing bid analyses and prepare procurement documentation for review.
• Assisting with office operations and project activities.
• Preparing weekly and monthly procurement plan
• Preparing weekly report of received and dispatches goods
• Preparing payment process documents as per procedure and inform suppliers for collections of their cheque
